By accessing or using our website, purchasing our products, or engaging our custom woodworking services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our site or placing an order.

Our Services

Fairway Woodcraft designs and builds custom furniture and cabinetry, handcrafted in our New England workshop and installed on location.

Our primary service area includes the greater New England region, with most clients located along the I-95 corridor between New York City and Boston.

We also offer a selection of handmade cutting boards and smaller goods available for purchase online and shipped throughout the continental United States.

2. 

Custom Orders

Each custom project begins with a consultation, design review, and material selection process.

  • Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your project in our production schedule.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon completion or installation, as outlined in your estimate or invoice.
  • Design Changes: Any design or material changes requested after approval may affect pricing and lead times.
  • Lead Times: Project timelines are estimates based on current workload, materials, and availability. Fairway Woodcraft is not responsible for delays caused by suppliers, shipping carriers, or factors outside our control.

3. 

Online Store Purchases

Our cutting boards and other small-batch goods are available for purchase directly through our website.

  • Shipping: We ship across the continental U.S. using standard ground services.
  • Returns: Due to the handcrafted nature of our work, all sales are final unless an item arrives damaged or defective.
  • Damaged Items: If your product is damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and item so we can assist with a replacement or refund.

4. 

Use of This Website

By using our website, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information.
  • Refrain from unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive behavior.
  • Avoid uploading or distributing spam, malware, or offensive content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate website access for users who violate these terms.

While every effort is made to ensure quality and accuracy, Fairway Woodcraft is not liable for:

  • Typographical or informational errors on this website
  • Delays caused by shipping carriers, suppliers, or unforeseen circumstances
  • Damage caused by improper use, handling, or maintenance after delivery or installation

In all cases, our total liability will not exceed the total amount paid for the specific product or service in question.

Cancellations and Withdrawals

Deposits for canceled custom projects are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Return and Refund Policy

At Fairway Woodcraft, each piece we create is made with great care and attention to detail. Because our work includes both custom-built projects and ready-to-ship products, our return and refund policies differ slightly between the two.

Please review the terms below carefully before placing an order.

1. 

Custom Furniture and Cabinetry

All custom furniture, cabinetry, and built-to-order pieces are final sale.

Because these projects are made to your specifications — including dimensions, finishes, and materials — they cannot be returned or refunded once production has begun.

If there is an issue with craftsmanship or installation, please contact us within 7 days of completion so we can assess and address the concern promptly.

We take pride in our work and stand behind the quality of every project we deliver.

2. 

Cutting Boards and Online Purchases

For cutting boards and other ready-to-ship products purchased through our online store:

  • Return Window: Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery.
  • Condition: Items must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging.
  • Eligible Reasons: Returns are accepted only for items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Used or customized products (e.g., engraved boards) are not eligible for return.

3. 

How to Initiate a Return

To begin a return, please contact us at:

Include the following details in your message:

  • Your full name and order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos showing the item and any damage

We will review your request within 2–3 business days and provide instructions for returning the item, if applicable.

Please do not ship items back without contacting us first. Unauthorized returns cannot be processed.

4. 

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email regarding approval or denial.

  • Approved Returns: A refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval.
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error.
  • Damaged/Incorrect Items: In the case of damage or incorrect fulfillment, we will provide a prepaid shipping label and send a replacement or refund in full.

5. 

Cancellations

Orders for cutting boards or small goods may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided the item has not yet shipped.

Custom furniture and cabinetry orders may only be canceled prior to deposit payment — once a deposit is received, the project slot is reserved and materials may be ordered.
